Where We are
The Tomatin Distillery lies just 16 miles south of Inverness and 15 miles north of Aviemore on the A9.
The Legacy Tour
Explore our distillery and learn how we produce our award winning whiskies. You will learn about the unique legacy of Tomatin which, having started in 1897, is the driving force for the company today. Finish up with three of our Tomatin Single Malts, each revealing why we are the ‘softer side of the Highlands’.

An enhanced Tomatin experience with an in-depth tour followed by a tutored nosing and tasting of 6 different whiskies, including two distillery exclusive single cask expressions.

Understand the importance of cask selection with an in-depth distillery tour concluding with a tutored nosing and tasting of 5 different distillery exclusive single cask expressions. Please enquire at the Visitor Centre to find out which casks are on offer.

Bottle Your Own
Fill your own bottle of our cask strength distillery exclusive whisky and take it home as an extra special memento of your Tomatin experience.
Enjoy a spot of retail therapy in our gift shop which offers a wide range of whiskies and exclusive Tomatin merchandise.
Available to enjoy in our Visitor Centre at all times and in several languages.

Disabled access is available to most parts of the distillery, let us know of any specific requirements when booking.
Guide and assistance dogs are permitted, however, as much as we would like to, we cannot accommodate other pets.
Our production schedule varies throughout the year, please contact us for advice on production times and access.
In winter months, access to the distillery may be restricted due to the weather - please check our website or contact us before travelling.
