At the launch for this year’s Maggie’s Highland Golf Day it was announced that Tomatin Distillery have signed up as tournament sponsor. Staged on Friday April 20, 2018 at the Castle Stuart Golf Links this ever-popular fundraising golf event sees teams of four compete for a trophy at the world-famous golf course before joining partners for a black tie dinner and charity auction at The Kingsmills Hotel in the evening.

Last year’s event raised a fantastic £56,000 with all proceeds going to Maggie’s Highland who provide essential practical and emotional support to people with cancer and their families in the Highlands.

Speaking about the 2018 event, Maggie’s Highland Fundraising Manager, Andrew Benjamin, said: “We are delighted to have such a wonderful organisation in Tomatin Distillery sponsoring and supporting our prestigious golf day this year. I’m sure that Tomatin will help us achieve our goals for this year’s event, which is to try and smash last year’s total and raise over £65,000.”

Speaking about their sponsorship of the event, Tomatin's Marketing Manager, Jennifer Masson, said: “We are excited to be partnering with Maggie’s Highland on this key fundraising event - a definite highlight in the golfing calendar!

“The Maggie’s Centre in Inverness is fantastic, yet they receive no funding and are reliant solely on fundraising. We are pleased to be able to help them reach their target and also help to raise awareness of their vital support to our local community.”

Entry information: Entry fee to the Maggie’s Highland Golf Day 2018 is £1,295 per team of four, which includes a table for eight for a Black Tie Dinner with auction, wine and music at The Kingsmills Hotel.
