A classic vatting of two ex Spanish Oloroso sherry cask finishes, chosen by our Distillery Manager for outstanding quality. This is a limited edition of 1500 bottles, a truly superb whisky.

Bottled at 49.3% abv and non-chill filtered.


Date distilled – 22 November 1976.

Matured in – oak hogsheads.

Finished in – Spanish Oloroso sherry butts for 3 years

Date bottled – 22 October 2007.

Colour – deep gold.

Aroma - polished leather, fruit cake, orange and cloves. Some brine in the background. Well rounded – suggests full body.

Taste – orange spice; very smooth, almost creamy
.

Finish – quite long, satisfying, front-of-palate.
