The 25 year old Tomatin is a rich, full whisky with a predominantly malty fragrance. On the palate, the spirit is quite dry, with an aromatic aftertaste - which leads one to naturally address it again.

Aroma – The nose has a wondrous combination of ripe pears and orange zest over the resins of pine of cedar.

Palate – The taste is honey sweet for an instant; thereafter, dry, nutty and savoury, though the sweetness hovers on the edge of your consciousness well into the long dry aftertaste.

Finish – There is that oily richness again, and the memory of the dram is chewy and very long lasting.

Casks – Matured in refill American Oak casks
