Tomatin 12 year old
Elegant and airy with a big smooth texture, the 12 years aged Tomatin is a classic single Highland malt. A true delight for discerning whisky drinkers, Tomatin is carefully matured in tradtional oak barrels to produce the lightly peated, delicate flavour which charms connoisseurs.

Nose – Light and fresh, with delicate oaky notes coming through. An explosion of fruit follows with peach and citrus flavours dominating, vanilla and orange peel linger in the background.
Taste – Soft, gentle and very fruity. Smooth, medium body, delicate honey, mild orange
and apricot.
Finish – Gentle and soft flowing. A wonderful addition to the standard range.
Cask – Matured in refill American Oak casks. |

This world class malt has been aged for a minimum of 18 years and married for a period in distinctive Spanish Oloroso sherry casks to produce an exquisite whisky.

Nose: Intense and spirity to begin. Delicious sweet sherry burst follows, plateaus with undertones of apple, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup with just a hint of smoky heather throughout.
Taste: Sweet and sugary start with an oaky edge. Develops in the mouth with a bite of citrus and dark chocolate. Long lingering dry aftertaste with warming alcohol finish which keeps the mouth alive for several seconds afterwards.

Tomatin 25 year old
The 25 year old Tomatin is a rich, full whisky with a predominantly malty fragrance. On the palate, the spirit is quite dry, with an aromatic aftertaste - which leads one to naturally address it again.

Nose: A wondrous combination of ripe pears and orange zest over the resins of pine or cedar.
Taste: It is honey-sweet for an instant; thereafter, dry, nutty and savoury, through the sweetness hovers on the edges of one’s consciousness well into the long dry aftertaste.

J & W Hardie, the founders of The Antiquary. This very special blend has been limited to 1148 bottles, and is based on the Hardies’ original recipe.

Matured in specially selected American and European oak casks.

Tasting notes:
Colour – deep amber
Nose – sweet, smooth and mellow, marshmallow, a hint of citrus. Definite treacle toffee.
Palate – warming and nicely rounded, citrus comes through along with a hint of bitter chocolate.
Finish - full lingering aftertaste with just a hint of peat.
